How embarrassing that I wrote the wrong name of one of my favorite songs 😂😂. Thank you for the shout out on that. I'm glad my wife and I are not the only ones to still know and love that song.
totally understandable ‘cause “with you” is used a thousand times more in music 🤣 i think it’s a really romantic song. 🫶🏻
You also made me remember my first ‘heartache soundtrack’ haha.
I had this huge crush in high school and we’d been kinda flirting for weeks. One afternoon, while I was in the bus, I saw him standing at the station with another girl. I can still remember the sting in my teenage heart as I looked away, and this song blasting on the radio:
I think we all have a story like that 😂 I'm glad we get to live through a time in life where love is all consuming, but I'm also glad that it tones down as we age. Imagine feeling that intensely forever!
I remember to this day the first time I heard I Fall Apart by Post Malone when I was 18... that night I replayed it over and over crying my eyes out on the drive back from a 2 hr commute to visit a guy I really liked and I thought we were taking the next step to a relationship. He called it off that night after I said no to potentially taking it further after a makeout session because I wanted to take it slow.
Another song that really stands out is listening to my dad sing along to Jukebox Hero by Foreigner in the car on the way back from dinner when I was about 10ish years old. I thought he was so cool, still think so to this day; and still love that song.
Thanks for sharing. I love how everyone has these moments that stick with them forever. I haven't heard the Post Malone song but Jukebox Hero is obviously a mega jam.
The entire Me, Myself, and Irene soundtrack brings back great memories for me. (And I don’t even think I ever watched the movie?)
Most of my music taste comes from your influence… so thank you. I’ll never forget the best Mix CD Ever made: “Mom’s Monster Mix”.
To be fair I only followed a list given to me for that great mix
I remember many nights listening to Tik Tok by Kesha while scream singing and dancing with family. Those were the days!
Wake up in the morning feeling like REDACTED
You mean “With Me”? ‘cause I loooove that song! and i’m so glad you had it played at your wedding, “forever in vow” 🤍🤍🤍

“Maybe it's wrong to say, "Please, love me too"
'Cause I know you'll never do
Somebody else is waiting there inside for you
Maybe it's wrong to love you more each day
'Cause I know he's here to stay
But I know to whom you should belong”
i was so heartbroken. Haha so cute 🥲😆

Does it really tone down, tho? I feel like it just transformed but is still just as intense! Haha
I guess it just depends on the song in the background!
One hundred percent!! 😆
